Staff needed for day and overnight positions at shelter for women experiencing homelessness in Luzerne County; all positions require knowledge of and experience with issues pertaining to women and homelessness, individual and family counseling, mental health and substance abuse issues and coordinating and collaborating with area agencies serving the same population.

LCSW Position: Full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) wanted with experience in individual counseling, supervision, and program management.   This person will counsel shelter guests in chemical dependency and mental health issues; coordinate daytime operations; supervise staff and volunteers; assist residents to develop and implement permanent housing plans; and coordinate with area agencies.  LCSW is strongly preferred; similar backgrounds may be considered.  Send resume to PO Box 254, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18703, or e-mail to director@ruthsplace.com.
